Hello! I'm a dedicated full-stack web developer with a strong passion for machine learning and artificial intelligence. My tech journey began at Thinkful in September 2021, where I initially mastered the PERN stack, leading me to specialize in building sophisticated web applications Since then, I've expanded my expertise to include machine learning, exploring how data-driven technologies can solve real-world problems and enhance user experiences. My education through platforms like Codecademy has equipped me with a deep understanding of Python for AI applications, enabling me to integrate intelligent solutions into the software I develop. Professionally, I have accumulated two years of experience, including as a Learning Specialist at EdX's full-stack web development boot camp and as a web developer.

This is a Next.js application that allows users to practice having conversations in foreign languages with an AI chatbot using their microphone. The chatbot uses audio transcription to understand what the user is saying and then responds in the language the user is practicing.

Periodic Tables Restaurant Reservation App

This is a full-stack (PERN stack) web application that can help restaurants manage their reservations. This app allows users to schedule reservations, create tables, view other reservations/tables available for each day, search reservations by phone number, and seat guests.

Image Identifier

This project is a react application that utilizes tensorflow.js to identify images. The user can upload an image of their own, paste an image url, or generate a random image using Unsplash's random image API. The application will then generate 3 guesses on what the image could be and display the results. Each image will then be saved at the bottom of the page for future reference.

Tic Tac Toe

Tic Tac Toe is a two-player game played on a 3x3 grid. The objective of the game is to get three of your symbols in a row, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. The symbols used in the game are "X" and "O". This is a front-end web app that allows users to play Tic Tac Toe against a CPU or they can take turns playing with a friend on the same device. Player 1 also gets to choose which symbol they use (X always goes first).

Decoder Ring Web App

This decoder ring is a fun project that has three different decoders: Caesar Shift, Polybius Square, and Substitution Cypher. Each decoder allows you to chose between encoding and decoding. The main use of this project is simply for a fun party game or escape room. This project not only tested my ability to write challenging algorithms, it also challenged me in my ability to write tests using Mocha and Chai.
